Hey there,
Posting consistently is the single best marketing habit for a small business. It’s also the first thing that falls apart when you get busy.
The fix isn’t discipline. It’s batching. With AI, you can map and draft a full month of content in one focused afternoon — and then never stare at a blank screen again. Here’s the system.
STEP 1: PICK YOUR PILLARS (10 MINUTES)
Don’t brainstorm post-by-post. That’s the trap. Instead, pick 3-4 themes you want to be known for. A bakery might use: behind-the-scenes, customer favorites, baking tips, local community.
Then ask AI: “I run a [business]. My content pillars are [list]. Give me 5 post ideas under each pillar that would interest [your audience].” You now have 20 ideas in 30 seconds.
STEP 2: TURN IDEAS INTO A CALENDAR (10 MINUTES)
Decide how often you’ll post — let’s say 3x a week. That’s roughly 12 posts a month.
Hand AI your idea list and ask: “Arrange these into a 4-week calendar, 3 posts per week, rotating through my pillars so no theme repeats two posts in a row. Put it in a table with date, pillar, and topic.”
You now have a plan. The hard part — deciding what to post — is done.
STEP 3: DRAFT IN BATCHES (60-90 MINUTES)
This is the magic. Instead of writing one post at a time, write them in groups.
Use this prompt: “Write 4 short social posts based on these topics: [paste 4 from your calendar]. Keep each under 80 words, conversational, end with a question or simple call to action. Match this voice: [paste a past post you liked].”
Review, tweak the bits that don’t sound like you, and move to the next batch of four. A month of posts in under two hours.
